Samsung ရဲ႕ kitkat update ေတြကေတာ့ အားရစရာ မရွိပါဘူး။ မေန႔ကလည္း note3  sm-n900 ကို kitkat 4.4.2 တင္စမ္းခဲ့သလိုပဲ ဒီေန႔မွာလည္း s4 gt-i9500 ကို kitkat 4.4.2 တင္စမ္းၾကည့္ပါတယ္။ note3 ေရာ s4 ေရာ ထူးျခားခ်က္ ႀကီးႀကီးမားမား မေတြ႕လိုက္ရပါဘူး။ ပံုမွန္ အတိုင္းပဲ android version ေျပာင္းသြားတာမ်ိဳးပါပဲ။

တစ္ခု စဥ္းစားမိတာက note3, s4 ေတြဟာ စြမ္းအား ႀကီးတဲ့ ေကာင္းမြန္ၿပီးသား device ေတြ ျဖစ္ေနတာေၾကာင့္ kitkat ရဲ႕ အေျပာင္းအလဲကို မသိသာတာလားေတာ့ မေျပာတတ္ပါဘူး။ ေကာင္းေနၿပီးသား၊ အဆင္ေျပေနၿပီးသား ဆိုေတာ့ android version ေျပာင္းသြားေပမဲ့ သိပ္မထူးျခားေတာ့ဘူး ျဖစ္ေနတာလည္း ျဖစ္ႏိုင္ပါတယ္။

ဒါေပမဲ့ .... Samsung ရဲ႕ ဒီ တစ္ခါ kitkat update ေတြကို စိတ္ပ်က္မိတာ၊ စိတ္တိုင္း မက်တာေတာ့ အမွန္ပါပဲဗ်ာ။ 4.0 ကေန 4.1, 4.2 ကို ကူးခဲ့စဥ္တုန္းကလို အခု 4.4 အကူးအေျပာင္းမွာလည္း သိသိသာသာ ထူးထူးျခားျခား ျဖစ္လာလိမ့္မယ္လို႔ ေမွ်ာ္လင့္ခဲ့ေပမဲ့ မွန္းခ်က္က မွန္းခ်က္ အေနနဲ႔ပဲ အဆံုး သတ္သြားခဲ့ပါၿပီ။

ဘာပဲ ေျပာေျပာေပါ့ေလ။ တင္ၿပီးသြားမွေတာ့ မထူးေတာ့ပါဘူး။ s4 ရဲ႕ kitkat 4.4.2 ကို တစ္ခ်က္ေလာက္ ၾကည့္ၾကည့္လိုက္ၾကရေအာင္လားဗ်ာ။ :)

s4 ရဲ႕ kitkat 4.4.2 မွာ အဓိက အေနနဲ႔ သတိထားမိလိုက္တာက thread rendering ပိုျမန္လာတာကိုပါပဲ။ user input ကို response ေပးတာ ပို smooth ျဖစ္လာတဲ့ အျပင္ main thread အေနနဲ႔ run ေနတဲ့ widgets, framework ေတြပါ ႏွစ္ဆ နီးပါး ပိုျမန္လာတာကို ေတြ႕ရပါတယ္။ ဒါဟာ s4 ကိုင္ေဆာင္ေနသူေတြ အတြက္ တကယ့္ကို ဝမ္းသာစရာပါပဲ။ s4 မွာ စတင္ခဲ့တဲ့ air view, air gesture စတဲ့ smart feature ေတြေၾကာင့္ s4 ဟာ response ေႏွးတဲ့ (တကယ္ မေႏွးေပမဲ့ ေႏွးသလိုလို ျဖစ္ေနတဲ့) phone တစ္လံုးလို႔ အေျပာခံေနရာကေန အခု kitkat 4.4.2 မွာေတာ့ အဲ့ဒိ အမည္းစက္ကို အတတ္ႏိုင္ဆံုး ေခ်ဖ်က္ဖို႔ Samsung တုိ႔ ႀကိဳးစားထားပါတယ္။ (Samsung android developer ေတြေၾကာင့္ မဟုတ္ပဲ kitkat frame ကိုက rendering ေတြ ပိုျမန္လာတာေၾကာင့္လည္း ျဖစ္ႏိုင္ပါတယ္။)

Samsung android developer ေတြဟာ အသစ္ ထုတ္မယ့္ s5 အတြက္ အခ်ိန္ ကုန္ေနမွန္း သိသာပါတယ္။ s5 ကိုပဲ တသသ လုပ္ေနၾကမယ့္ ကာလထဲမွာ ဆိုေတာ့ ေရာင္းစြံၿပီးသား၊ ေအာင္ျမင္ၿပီးသား note3, s4 ေတြဘက္ကို လွည့္မၾကည့္အားေသးပါဘူး။ ဒါေၾကာင့္လည္း kitkat 4.4.2 update နဲ႔ အတူ တစ္ခါတည္း ေျပာင္းလဲေပးသင့္မွန္း သိေနတဲ့ TouchWiz UI အေဟာင္းႀကီးကို မေျပာင္းလဲေသးပဲ နဂို မူလ အတိုင္း ထည့္ေပးထားလိုက္တာေပါ့ဗ်ာ။ ဒါေပမဲ့ ေမွ်ာ္လင့္စရာ တစ္ခု ရွိတာက s5 ကို တကယ္ ထုတ္ေရာင္းတဲ့ အခ်ိန္မွာ note3, s4 အပါအဝင္ kitkat 4.4.2 update ရမယ့္ samsung android device ေတြ အကုန္လံုးကို new UI တစ္ခု ခ်ေပးလိမ့္မယ္လို႔ Samsung ပရိတ္သတ္ႀကီးက အားခဲေနၾကတယ္ေပါ့။

အခု s4 ရဲ႕ kitkat 4.4.2 ကလည္း TouchWiz ပံုစံခြက္ အေဟာင္းထဲမွာပဲေပါ့။ ဘာမွ မေျပာင္းလဲေသးဘူး။ ေျပာင္းသြားတာ ဆိုေတာ့ (note3 လိုပဲ) battery icon ေလးက အစိမ္းေရာင္ကေန အျဖဴေရာင္ ျဖစ္သြားတယ္။ notification bar ကို in app တစ္ခုခုကေန ဆြဲခ်လိုက္တဲ့ အခါ အရင္ 4.3 တုန္းကလို solid အမည္းႀကီး မက်လာေတာ့ပဲ transparent grey နဲ႔ ျပေပးတယ္။ ဒါေလာက္ပါပဲ။

home desktop launcher ကို ေျပာင္းလဲပစ္ဖို႔ ဆိုတာကလည္း ေတာ္ေတာ္ ခက္သားပဲကိုး။ အသစ္ အသစ္ကို သံုးခ်င္ေပမဲ့ ကုိယ္ခ်င္း အမ်ားႀကီး စာေပးရပါတယ္။ တျခား android ေတြထက္ ပိုၿပီး customize ျဖစ္တဲ့၊ သံုးရတာ လြယ္ကူ ထိေရာက္တဲ့ Samsung TouchWiz UI ကို ႀကိဳက္ႏွစ္သက္လို႔ပဲ Samsung သံုးေနၾကတာ ဆိုေတာ့ ေစာင့္လက္စနဲ႔ ဆက္လက္ ေစာင့္စား အားေပးေနၾကရေတာ့မွာပဲေပါ့ေလ။

s4 က kitkat 4.4.2 ေပၚမွာ တျခား မသိမသာ ေကာင္းလာတာေလးေတြလည္း ရွိပါေသးတယ္။
- battery စားတာ နည္းနည္း ေလ်ာ့သြားတယ္။
- အပူခ်ိန္ နည္းနည္း က်သြားတယ္။
- octa core auto switching process ေတြ နည္းနည္း ပိုေကာင္းလာတယ္။
- air function ေတြ နည္းနည္း ပို smooth ျဖစ္လာတယ္။
ဒီေလာက္ပါပဲ။ s4 ရဲ႕ kitkat 4.4.2 ကို ရုတ္တရက္ ၾကည့္လိုက္ရင္ စိတ္ ေက်နပ္စရာ ေကာင္းေလာက္ေအာင္ ျပဴးတူးျပဲတဲ မထူးျခားသြားေပမဲ့ regular usage မွာေတာ့ လက္မ ေထာင္ေပးရမွာ အမွန္ပါပဲ ခင္ဗ်ာ။

အခု အခ်ိန္မွာ kitkat 4.4.2 update ေပးခါစ ဆိုေတာ့ ျမန္မာစာ built-in Myanmar Zawgyi ပါတဲ့ region THL Thailand firmware မရေသးတဲ့ အတြက္ INS India region firmware တင္စမ္းထားတာေၾကာင့္ ျမန္မာစာ အခက္အခဲ ရွိေနပါေသးတယ္။ s4 kitkat 4.4.2 အတြက္ root ေဖာက္နည္း၊ cwm flash နည္းေတြ ရွိေနၿပီ ျဖစ္ေပမဲ့ root, cwm ေတြကို s4 gt-i9500 ရဲ႕ octa core ေပၚမွာ မလုပ္ေစခ်င္တဲ့ အတြက္  jellybean တုန္းက သံုးခဲ့တဲ့ zawgyi one flip font new v1.0 (s3, s4, note3 4.2.2+) ကိုပဲ အသံုး ျပဳၿပီး ျမန္မာစာ ျပႆနာကို ေျဖရွင္းထားလိုက္ပါတယ္။ ၁၀၀% ျပည့္ အဆင္ မေျပေပမဲ့ အေရးႀကီးတဲ့ ေနရာေတြမွာေတာ့ သံုးလို႔ ျဖစ္ေနပါတယ္။

s4 kitkat 4.4.2 ေပၚမွာ settings > display > font style နဲ႔ ေျပာင္းၾကည့္ထားတဲ့ ျမန္မာစာက ..
phone, contacts, message - မွန္
lock screen, apps drawer, desktop, settings - မွန္
facebook + facebook messenger - မွန္
hangouts (gtalk) - မွန္
gmail - မွား
internet browser, chrome browser - မွား
.. အဲ့လိုပဲ ျဖစ္ေနပါေသးတယ္။ viber, skype ေတြေပၚမွာေတာ့ မစမ္းၾကည့္ရေသးပါဘူး။ မွန္ရင္ မွန္၊ မမွန္ရင္ မွားေပါ့။ :P :P

သံုးတဲ့ keyboard ကေတာ့ ရိုးရာ အတိုင္း Bagan keyboard ပါပဲ။ Bagan keyboard ရဲ႕ zawgyi fixes ေအာက္မွာ ေလးခု ရွိတဲ့ထဲက type as unicode တစ္ခုတည္းကိုပဲ ဖ်က္ထားရပါမယ္။ က်န္တဲ့ သံုးခုကို အမွန္ျခစ္ ျခစ္ေပးထားရပါမယ္။ ဒါမွ ရိုက္ရတာ အဆင္ေျပမွာပါ။ lock screen ေပၚမွာ ျပေပးမယ့္ personal information (settings > lock screen > lock screen widgets > edit personal message) ထဲမွာ ရိုက္ခ်င္တဲ့ အခါမ်ိဳးက်မွ အဲ့ဒိ type as unicode ကို အမွန္ျခစ္ ျခစ္ေပးရပါမယ္။ မဟုတ္ရင္ ပဆင့္ေတြ၊ ငသတ္ေတြ ရိုက္လို႔ မရပါဘူး။

အခု ေလာေလာဆယ္ kitkat 4.4.2 ကို root, cwm မလုပ္ပဲ iFont, zawgyi one flip font ေတြ သံုးၿပီး font install လုပ္ၾကည့္ စမ္းၾကည့္သေလာက္ေတာ့ ၇၀% ေလာက္ပဲ အဆင္ေျပပါေသးတယ္။ ဒါေတြကလည္း android version အေျပာင္းအလဲမွာ ျဖစ္ေနက်ပါပဲ။ ကၽြန္ေတာ္တို႔လို common user ေတြ အေနနဲ႔ အခ်ိန္ ကာလ တစ္ခု အထိေတာ့ ေစာင့္ေနၾကရဦးမွာပါ။

ျမန္မာစာ အမွန္ကို မျဖစ္မေန လိုအပ္တယ္ ဆိုရင္ေတာ့ 4.2.2, 4.3 ကေန 4.4.2 ကို မျမင့္ေသးပဲ built-in Myanmar Zawgyi ပါတဲ့ region THL Thailand firmware လို firmware မ်ိဳးေတြ ရလာတဲ့ထိ ေနာက္ တစ္လေလာက္ ထပ္ေစာင့္ေနလိုက္ပါဦးလို႔ အၾကံ ျပဳပါရေစ။

rooting, custom recovery flashing ဆိုတာေတြက developer ေတြ အတြက္ ပိုသင့္ေလ်ာ္တာေၾကာင့္ s4, note3 တို႔လို စြမ္းအား ႀကီးေလ .. အတိမ္းအေစာင္း မခံေလ ျဖစ္တဲ့ device ေတြကို root, cwm ေတြ လုပ္ထားၿပီး သံုးဖို႔ ဆိုတာ user experience အမ်ားႀကီး လိုအပ္ပါလိမ့္မယ္။ ကိုယ္တိုင္ မကၽြမ္းက်င္ဘူး၊ ျဖစ္လာမယ့္ error ေတြကို on the spot မရွင္းလင္းႏိုင္ဘူး ဆိုရင္ေတာ့ root, cwm ေတြနဲ႔ ျမန္မာစာ ထည့္သံုးတာမ်ိဳးကို ေရွာင္သင့္တယ္လို႔ အၾကံ ျပဳလိုက္ရပါေၾကာင္း ....
